As part of its establishment in France, AESC is recruiting for the Lambres-lez-Douai site for a Senior Indirect Buyer (H/F) position. You will report to the EU Indirect Purchasing Manager and play an essential role in managing indirect purchases, optimizing costs, and ensuring service quality. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operations while adhering to quality standards and established timelines.

🎯 Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong connections with Regional Purchasing to support strategies and develop suppliers both regionally and locally.
• Ensure daily operational issues are managed with relevant plant personnel, improving quality/logistical performance of indirect suppliers.
• Lead RFQ, negotiations, and supplier selection for locally managed suppliers.
• Align plant functional needs to support TdC activities, such as cost reductions, increased warranty terms, and improved payment conditions.
• Manage service contracts to implement year-over-year improvements.
• Establish QCD targets, monitor/report KPIs to management.
• Support the Purchasing Admin with supplier quality and OTIF escalation issues.
• Expedite Purchase Orders with indirect suppliers when needed.

💼 Required Skills:

• University degree is essential.
• CIPS or MCIPS certification is highly valuable.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, and SAP.
• Proven experience (at least 5 years) in indirect procurement within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence local functions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage time effectively.

✅ Job Requirements:

• English C1 level essential.
• Travel may be required within the EU.
