Contamination Technician

The role
AESC is looking to recruit a contamination control Engineer / Lead to join our Giga factory project in France. The role will be key to a successful launch of the facility and will be responsible for process engineering, delivery, commissioning and ongoing production support for their dedicated process area. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major European battery project and be part of a significant industrial transformation within the electric vehicle marketplace. The role will be based in Douai.
Responsibilities
---1.1 Tracking and improvement of hipot test yield, K-value test yield, bad appearance yield of visual check (contamination) ;
---1.2 Tracking and improvement of magnetic particle in slurry, metal particle in electrolyte, and environmental contamination (dustfall);
---1.3 Tracking and improvement of other abnormality related with contamination in the production line;
---1.4 Regular contamination audits and following of contamination issues.Provide exceptional support to production during ramp up and into mass production.
Skills Requirements:
The ideal candidate should possess the following prior experience:
--- Familiar with contamination control management in cleanroom;
---With a basic general knowledge of lithium battery; (not mandatory);
---English can be used as the working language, with good communication skills
---With the positive working motivation, working time in the workshop lasts for at least 4h/day.
Non-essential but advantageous experience:
- Previous involvement in battery manufacturing or similar technologies (e.g., high-speed consumer goods, high-speed machining or assembly, printing, web conversion).
- Bac0lkground in high-volume quality-focused environments.
Prerequisites:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, French is strongly advantageous.
- Willingness to travel internationally <20%
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and word processing tools.
